The Department of Computer Science at A.N.G. Ideal Group of Institutions offers Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA):
- The BCA program typically spans over three years and is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of computer applications.
- The curriculum covers subjects such as programming languages, data structures, database management systems, computer networks, software engineering, web development, and computer graphics.
- Students also gain practical experience through laboratory sessions, projects, and internships to develop their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Upon completion of the BCA course, students can pursue careers as software developers, system analysts, database administrators, web designers, IT consultants, and more. They can also opt for further studies such as MCA or specialized certification programs.
Master of Computer Applications (MCA):
- The MCA program is a postgraduate course that typically spans over two to three years and builds upon the foundational knowledge gained during the BCA or equivalent undergraduate studies.
- The curriculum of the MCA course covers advanced topics in computer science, including advanced programming, software development methodologies, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cloud computing, and cyber security.
